Exactly what I needed!   July 16, 2010 Dave W. (Philadelphia, PA) I bought these rope lights to run around the railing on my deck for ambient lighting at night. They worked great right out of the box, and I haven't had any problems with them in the two weeks that I have been using them so far. One nice thing about this set is that it about 3/8" in diameter, which is a little bit thinner than most other rope lights. This give them a slightly lower profile and makes them less noticeable when they aren't turned on. My only complaint might be that the screws included with the mounting hardware are a bit weak. I managed to shear the heads off of about 6 of them while trying to mount them in the hardwood railings. If you don't mind picking up $1.00 worth of screws at your hardware store, then this a great set. Average and faulty   March 10, 2010 Zachary C. I then strung the rope up and where the rope bent at a loose 90 degrees that section has burnt out. I would also like to have an on/off switch for this product as well. WE BOUGHT THE CLEAR LIGHTS BUT THEY ARE REALLY MORE OF A PALE WHITE, DIRTY WHITE OR REAL LIGHT YELLOW LIGHT. WE HAVE SOME CLEAR LED LIGHTS IN THE YARD AND YOU CAN REALLY TELL THE DIFFERENCE BUT THE ROPE LIGHTS ARE GREAT, JUST NOT WHITE....... 1 2 3 4 Next »
