It works well enough but, does not have the smaller strands inside like paracord. Instead, it has a loose braided rope inside. It's parachute cord, not rope. It's great for tying stuff down, suspending a shelter or a backpack. It's very light weight and easily stowed. But it is not rope in the heavier duty sense.
